Creator Clara Daguin was born in France and grew up in California’s Silicon Valley. Fittingly, her approach draws from both of these formative contexts: a mix of savoir- faire and technology, embroidery and electronics, the organic and the artificial. She uses fashion as a vector for examining how technology evolves alongside the body, engaging with present circumstances and future realities: digitalization, dematerialization, surveillance.
 
Using light as a material, she leans into the esoteric: conjuring up energies and flows, externalising our invisible infrastructures, and alluding to the way our anatomies secretly operate beneath our clothes.
 
Clara Daguin created her eponymous label in 2017 after her participation in the Hyères International Fashion Festival. In addition to her own designs, she collaborates with artists, researchers and institutions — Google, Baccarat, Nike.
 
In 2023 she is the winner of the Grand Prix de la Création de la ville de Paris in the Fashion category, and goes on to win the Innovation Prize alongside the label Fabriqué à Paris.
